Salon Advantage TWO DAY Interactive Masters Class

Held on the 10^th and 11^th October at the Coogee Beach Crowne Plaza

Delegates attended from states in Australia to actively participate in yet another successful Masters Class held by Salon Advantage Master Coach Gita McKenna.

The two days of business education actively showed all delegates how to grow themselves and their team to become more productive and profitable. Interaction and networking being a key outcome from this learning forum.

The key areas covered specifically targeted our most valuable resource our staff, and all leaders in attendance assessed themselves and their leadership skills to work more efficiently and effectively at motivating and inspiring their team to higher productivity.

Gita shared her many years of first hand experience in the industry with the group and actively role played how to implement all areas with the team.

Team Productivity is one area that many owners and managers struggle with in salons today and this was made the major focal point of the two days. Delegates completed a questionnaire to assist them in identifying their own personal learning styles and how to best communicate their message to their team. This reinforced the need to be aware of their staff's learning style also so the messages being imparted would be clearly understood and implemented; thus increasing team member performance, clearer communications and stronger teamwork in the salon.

Time Management was also addressed, the one area so many of us struggle with was broken down to highlight the need to focus on their driving needs and goals for the business.

The nuts and bolts of business development were broken down to achievable steps with the tools to use being shown, used and given to all delegates.

This was one of our most successful Master Classes to date due in part to the fact we focused intensely on Staff Productivity and Leadership Efficiency and Effectiveness with delegates using their own salon's figures. Sales Planning and Marketing was also addressed as these are the key components to building a truly profitable salon with a happy team that works together with a common goal.
